Keke Palmer Celebrates Big Boss Release with Star-Studded After-Party and Electric Blue Sergio Hudson Look. This weekend, actress and singer Keke Palmer will be celebrating her first Mother’s Day, having just given birth to her second “baby” to cherish — her upcoming album and accompanying film, Big Boss. On Wednesday night, Palmer made a big entrance to promote its upcoming release at The Grammy Museum with a star-studded after-party.

Palmer channeled the Hollywood boss Pamela Anderson for the event, wearing a bold skin-tight strapless mididress from Sergio Hudson in an electric blue color with a sweetheart neckline and bustier seaming along the cups. A teardrop shape was embossed down the corseted midsection which also had invisible boning. She wore white pointy-toe heels and accessorized with diamond hoop earrings, matching stacked bangles, and a pinky ring on both hands, finishing with a white bedazzled manicure that perfectly coordinated.
Palmer pulled her hair into a messy updo with face-framing pieces left down in the front — another tribute to Anderson — and her bronzy glam included a subtle cat-eye, feathery lashes, and a matte lip with brown liner. Big Boss — all written, starred in, and directed by Palmer — will be released this Friday, marking Palmer’s first full album since 2007. Reaction from fans has been overwhelmingly positive in anticipation for what is sure to be an impressive album from the triple threat.
“I hope my album helps people feel strong and ready to do whatever it is that they feel is necessary for them to do for their growth,” Palmer told Women’s Wear Daily about the album’s mission. With the new release, plus her soon-to-be one-year-old, Palmer is sure to have a lot to be proud of as she celebrates her special first Mother’s Day on Sunday.
